Last Saturday night members of the Fermanagh Association and friends enjoyed a visit to Belfast City Hall. The trip was organised by our Chairman, Peter O’Reilly who is a City Councillor in South Belfast.
Those attending were treated to a most enjoyable meal in the Lord Mayor’s Parlour and our thanks go to the staff on duty for their welcome and hospitality.
In the course of the evening Councillor O’Reilly made three presentations. Firstly to Vincent Crudden who is our distinguished President, then to Jim McGovern for his sterling work for the Association and finally to Joe McAloon for his support. All three received a beautiful book in colour depicting life in the City Hall. All attendees received a gift to mark the occasion.
Once again, sincere thanks to the Lord Mayor, his staff and Peter.
